Rebel Roxie Rose has Added Merchandise and have New Spokespeople

Rebel Roxie Rose is in the midst of change. We still have local handmade products, but we will be following the mission to have merchandise produced OR purchased within 150 miles of our store. Why the change? We are so much more then a "craft" store. In order to give our customers
what they want, we had an obligation to increase the variety in the shop. We still have quality and unique handmade items, but now we have wonderful treasures from the area in our store. Come in and see all our new merchandise.

New vendors are joining us.  One is Prim Country (they may be prim but may not always be proper), their stock runs a wide range from hand painted yard art, hand built occasional tables to unique home decor items they bring in to the shop.  We are also lucky enough to have Two Freckled Frogs joining us soon.  Two Freckled Frogs offers monogramming and embroidery in infant and children's products. They have wonderful, quality products at affordable prices.  Personalized orders will usually have a one week turn around time.

Cute Pot Holders
Cardinal Yard Stake (1 stake and 1 hanging)
Hand painted patriotic yard stake, $7.50 (only 5 available)

Many of our blog readers enjoyed the antics of George and Gingy Gingerbread last holiday season working as our spokespersons.  But when the holiday decorations went into storage, so did the gingerbread people.  Recently, we have hand the Eggberts join us.  Earnest (always honest to a fault) and Edward Eggbert like to make commentary about everything and everyone.  Here is the first of what they have to say in the next 3 pictures.  Very opinionated and think they are funny.  See what you think:

Earnest Eggbert sitting on the pot telling you what he thinks.

Edward and Earnest sit a spell.

In their little chairs sitting under the fashion doll birdhouse that is for sale in the shop at $4.50.

Thanks for reading the blog and joining us in our world where the Eggbert Boys can reflect on just about anything!  Until next blog . . . . . . . . .

More Variety and Changes Abound!

Rebel Roxie Rose is changing like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon.  Sounds corny doesn't it?  But we are adding more variety and dropping some of our limits to give customers more choices.  One thing that won't change--when you shop with us, you will be buying locally (or at least products made or purchased within 150 miles of our store).  Vendors are being added and more products are becoming available.

Prim Country is a new line being introduced now in the store.  They make and redo many home decor items.  We already have shown you their rugs they make from yarn.  One has been sold.  There is one more available.  We are setting out their hand painted yard art for summer, pained with red, white and blue.  Here are a few of the newest items they have brought in and there is more to be unpacked and set out.

Patriotic Hearts (only 5 in stock) $7.50, hand-painted wooden yard art, stakes attached. When these are gone, there will be no more.
Cardinal yard stake, only 1 available, $3. Matching hanging Cardinal $4.49, only one available.
Uncle Sam Hat yard art, hand-painted wood with stakes already attached, $3 each, 3 available.

Guess I better close for now.  Have a good next few days.  Until next blog . . . .

On the Road Again . . .

Hello to all!  No, I am not breaking out in song, even though the title of the blog does make me want to do just that very thing.  Sorry I haven't been blogging lately.  (Not that I have much to say that is important!)  This time I do have some news.  Rebel Roxie Rose is pulling out the pop-up tent and heading out to 3 shows this month.

May 12, this Saturday, we will be set up in Garnett, Kansas at the 40th annual Garnett Square Fair.   Read about it on this website:  http://garnettbpw.com/Square_Fair_BRKI.html.  Come and see all our new handcrafted products and enjoy a day of activities.  Garnett is located at the junction of US 59, US 169 and K-31 highways.
Then we go on the road again the next weekend, May 19 to Cherryvale, Kansas to set up at the Cherry Blossom Festival.  Here is a link for info http://www.cherryvaleusa.com/chamber/index.html

May 24, 25, and 26 we will be set up at the  Leavenworth County Fairgrounds, 22618 Mclouth Rd, Tonganoxie, Kansas.  This year the Shriners will host a two day rodeo on the 25 & 25 and the demolition derby on Saturday the 26th.  Look for us in the exhibition building.  For more info follow this http://www.shrinerodeo.com/joomla/.

We have new products for the shows.  Here are some examples.
