I haven't been on here for awhile. Lots going on. We rearranged the store for our two vendors coming on. We will have infant and children clothing and accessories with appliques and special order monogramming available at affordable prices. We are excited to start receiving inventory this week I'll let you know when we have the new section set up so you can come in and browse.
Today, I am writing this from the library while I wait for my granddaughter to finish her story time hour. Our library here in Eudora is a great place for gathering of kids and adults. This gives her a chance to interact with other kiddos her age and I have time to write a little to you on this blog. Her mom is working the store today, so don't forget to go by Rebel Roxie Rose between 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. today.
Kristi was on the Channel 6 news in Lawrence on Sunday night talking about the petition for the request for a skate park here in Eudora. Coffeyville, Kansas just put one in and it really helped to keep their kids off the streets and sidewalks with their skateboards. It would be a relief to have a place the kids could gather safely with equipment built for this activity. To support it, come by the store and sign the petition.
Recently, we brought in a dozen trial size homemade liquid laundry soap to the store. Mama Roxie's Fancy Suds for Fancy Duds is earth friendly (no petroleum products), and great for sensitive skin. It has the most natural ingredients possible with as few additives as we could manage and still keep the fantastic cleaning power. If you or someone in your household has problems with rashes or itching and you can't find the cause, try this soap. People washing for members of their families with skin problems, allergies, etc. have tried it and like it. $1.50 for a trial size that will do 8 loads. If it is popular, we will begin selling it in 1/2 gallon containers. Of course, it will be cheaper per load as we increase the quantity. Come in and pick up a trial size--in 2 types; Pineapple Orange and Tea Tree Oil. I wash all my clothes in it and have been very happy with the results. Also, it is great not to itch due to laundry soap residue!Our doll clothes maker brought in swimsuits for 18" dolls yesterday. Come in and get your dolls ready for summer!
