We have heard people say that they come by and we are closed. We are always open for appointments. All you have to do is give us a call and we will set up a time to meet you at the store or if we are dressed and look decent, we will meet you at the store when you call. Of course, we need to keep our appointments before 9:00 at night, but who wants to shop with us after 9:00? It has crossed my mind to split our regular hours between earlier morning hours and later afternoon hours. Seems our customers come by after 1:00 in the afternoon. And since we have always come in at 10:00 or 10:30, we wonder if people would like to come by between 8:00 and 10:00? Then we could close between 10 and 1. Open at 1:00 p.m. and stay until 6:00 or 6:30. Would that work? We are off on Sunday and Monday during "non-occasion" periods. Perhaps that is when people are going by and we are closed. Some input would be nice. Let us know what you prefer, maybe we can do it. Our problem is there are only 2 of us to work the store and make the products and handle all the business. When one is at the store the other one has the kids, so we are spread pretty thin. We will do our best to be there when you want to shop. Just let us know.

Hi. I own the Antique Store downtown and have been meaning to stop in and introduce myself. We have been opened almost a year, and I have found no rhyme or reason to store hours and what is best. I do notice that things die down on Saturdays around 2 and close at 4 on Saturdays. Since October, things died down a little and I have shortened our days opened to just Thursday thru Saturday for the winter. I have actually noticed an increase in sales with the shorter days. But will go back to opened 4-5 days a week once spring comes. During summer our Sunday (10-2) was busy. Not sure this is any help, but thought I'd share my experience. Kim

DeleteThanks for your comment. Our business picked up quite well over the Valentine Holiday. As a matter of fact, we had to close down a few days to restock and get ready for the next phase of Rebel Roxie Rose. We will open Wednesday at 10:30 - 6:00. We will be open Wed-Fri those hours and from 9:00 to 1:00 on Saturday. We are always available to be open by appointment for those that cannot make it in during our regular hours. We had someone at the store wanting to shop in your store. Let us know what your hours are and we can send some people your way. (Kristi, my daughter, lives next door to your mother-in-law I believe is what she said.) Anyway, let us know what your regular hours are and we will come in and send people down.
